Miller Orthopaedics Closed for Business
Dear Patients,
As you know, I retired from my Morgantown medical practice on January 15, 2012. As you can imagine, this was not an easy decision to make, as our practice grew over the past six years. Nevertheless, I realized our solo orthopedic practice was restrained too much by outside forces to make it financially feasible to continue the practice.
My wife and I are moving to Lewisburg, WV. I joined the Greenbriar Physicians Clinic, a multi-specialty practice in Ronceverte, WV near Lewisburg. I am excited to continue practicing general orthopedics. It has been my privilege serving you as a doctor and I thank you for the past six years.

Medical Records
All medical records are now in a secure facility, and will be there for a minimum of 5 years.
If medical records are needed, the following protocol must be followed:
- No medical records can be released without a valid, signed release of records, signed by the patient, or legal guardian. This release can be found for download download below.
- Please send all questions and records requests to miller_ortho@yahoo.com.
- The process to obtain records will be initiated once we have received the valid release of information and payment for the cost of records retrieval from the secure facility. This cost is determined by the (a) basic cost dictated by the facility, which is $8-12 plus 10 cents per page plus (b) handling fee and postage charge.
Please note that all patient records and x- rays are now stored in a environmentally controlled secure facility, EvriChart, in White Sulphur Springs, WV., and can be requested at any time per the above protocol.
Please also be advised that the x-rays in storage are the originals and we are unable to copy the films. Therefore, x-rays will only be released with another physicians written request, in addition to the patient's signed release of records. The cost of retrieval for x-rays will be similar the previously stated cost for medical records, although the cost may be slightly higher, as determined by EvriChart.
If there is any change in the above policies, a revised notice will be posted.
